Foraging with Rights for Weeds [Children Only]

Foraging with Rights for Weeds [Children Only]

  • Lasts 120 minutes

In these fun foraging workshops, we'll go on exciting adventures at Birch to discover amazing flavors from nature. We'll learn how to find and identify special plants and mushrooms, and we'll even learn how to tell which ones are safe to eat. You'll gain enough knowledge to go on your own safe foraging expeditions. Along the way, we'll also listen to fascinating stories about what we find, like the history and magical tales behind them. We might even cook some yummy food using the treasures we discover and try some delicious treats we've prepared in advance.

Rights For Weeds is a special project that cares about the little plants and mushrooms often forgotten in cities. Through fun activities like foraging, storytelling, and art, it brings people and nature together. By building these connections, we learn how important it is to protect our delicate wilderness and everything that lives in it.

Please note:
- Children must be 6+ to attend without a parent
